Surprised that when you have eaten in “La Cocina Peruana”, that you will have experienced it as being one of the most exceptional gastronomies in the world? You are not the only one. In reality there are many people that have never heard of or tasted Peruvian food. And this has inspired us today to introduce to you, from the ancient High Andes of Peru, the art of Peruvian cuisine, which is being represented in Sydney in a new decade.
When you go around the world, all people that have visited “El Cuzco” or “Machu Pichu”, will tell you the same, that they were stunned when they discovered the wonderful and magic taste of Peruvian cuisine. It’s up there with the very best, if not the best in the world. And guess what? You don’t have to go all the way to Lima. It’s just at your door step in the Eastern suburbs of Randwick and the restaurant is called: “La Cocina Peruana”.
“La Cocina Peruana” is a wonderful and beautifully decorated new café situated in the Eastern suburbs of Sydney. The authentic “Inca” cuisine consists of a mixed variety that has been influenced by Spanish, Italian and Oriental cuisines, resulting in exotic dishes.
Our chef has been selected based on the expertise of mixing the most wonderful spices and sauces into dishes that will surprise our culinary lovers.

Peru's cuisine is probably the best kept food secret of South America and the most important ingredients are definitively the spices that are added to these beautiful dishes of seafood, poultry, meat and legumes.

Most of these kind of spices are difficult to find in any other country than Peru, so it is very difficult to reproduce exactly, the authentic taste of these typical dishes.
